milanboez, it isn't always a false economy. When he bought the stock bike he could ride it and over time upgrade the standard parts as and when he had the cash. If you just bought a frame it could possibly sit in the garage for a year until you could afford all the bling parts for it. How much do you put on a price to actually have a bike thats rideable!
